Cubbi Gummi

                            Cubbi is the youngest cub of the Glens, he's around seven years of age and a little daredevil. Seriously, this cub must have a death

                 wish. He is always getting into trouble or risking his neck in exciting adventures. Cubbi has dreams of being a knight and is a

        knight  of the Ancient Gummi city of Gummadoon. Cubbi also likes to fight crime as The Crimson Avenger. But while

he's a fighter, Cubbi is also a child.

                                Cubbi has a best friend, the first human the Glens met, Cavin, a page from Dunwyn. Cavin is around thirteen so the age difference

                     is tremendous but the two are the best of friends. Both have dreams of being knights but  their loyalty is more apparent. In the

                                episode, When You Wish Upon A Stone, Cubbi and Cavin venture into the dangerous Cavern of Shadows simply to stop Cavin from

                                 being bullied anymore. In Knights of Gummadoon, Cubbi takes the greatest risk he can, disobeying the Great  Gummies' direct orders

                             and freeing his best friend from their prison. Although at times they fight, the two's friendship is quite apparent.

                                    Cubbi is the youthful risk taker in Gummi Glen.  He's young and impetuous, often running into situations without a care, as long as

                                 there's lots of action to be found! He is known for taking the more dangerous route, simply for the adventure. He loves to search for

                                 treasure and adventure. Cubbi doubles as the Crimson Avenger, a famous crime fighter, known and respected through many  kingdoms.

                                Cubbi is also a great fan of practical jokes. However, while Cubbi loves action and adventure he is not a fool and often knows when it

                             is enough. Of course, just because he knows it's dangerous doesn't stop this cub!

                                    Cubbi tends to find most of his guidance from Gruffi. Although Cubbi often finds comfort in Grammi's caring character as shown

                                    in  Top Gum, the cub, Cubbi can relate more easily with Gruffi. Cubbi is not known for listening to Gruffi but does not disobey out

                                   of  deliberate disobedience but rather to show that is old enough to handle himself. Gruffi is not the type to take note of something

                                     that he does not approve of and although he is stern, he inwardly finds it hard to let the youngest of the Glens grow up. He admits

                                     this in  Gummi Dearest. Cubbi often finds himself trying to prove what  he can do, being the youngest. Gruffi still sees him as a

                                     cub as seen in The Fence Sitter, where he does not even hear Cubbi out. Treatment like this only makes Cubbi more determined to

 prove himself.  Even if it is just to himself.

                                    Cubbi is another favorite of mine. Although he's young, that doesn't stop him from doing some damage. Unlike Sunni, who's

                                     practical, Cubbi respects their traditions more but finds different ways to get adventure. Like any child, Cubbi will find loopholes to

                                 get away with something. Always desiring knighthood, it isn't just an unreachable dream for Cubbi, this cub has the bravery and

                                 possible knighthood is a very real dream. After being named the Unseen Knight and Secret Defender of Dunwyn, the Crimson

                                    Avenger was born. Cubbi only shared that  secret with one Glen member, Tummi. This is an example of what I  loved most about

                                     Cubbi: his fearless nature.  While he still obvious has a lot to learn, he has talent that would make for a great knight. In the words of

                                     Sir Plucki from Knights of  Gummadoon, "If you had been with us when we stood against the  humans, perhaps _they'd_ have fled across the

 sea!"   Cubbi is loyal, brave but impulsive. But even that is fixed with time.

                                Cubbi and Sunni have a very familiar relationship. Although not related, the two act very much like siblings. The two argue

                            often and  fight over small things, like presents and maturity. As seen in Life of the Party, however, when the time calls for it,

                            they can put aside their differences and work together. Sunni likes to brag that she is far too mature for Cubbi but as shown in

                                    Rocking Chair Bear  primarily, she is still a child who loves to play with Cubbi. They obviously love each other, noted especially in

 Up, Up, And Away.
